Description: Learn the basics of genealogy in this introductory course. This course teaches you to structure your research and study various sources of genealogical information-census records, courthouse records, cemetery records, family papers, library sources, and more. Students will not only learn the importance of Internet searches for information gathering, but will have the opportunity for hands-on experience in researching family history information via the Internet.
