Respiratory Procedures V (RESP-213)

Location: Main Campus

Description: This course will provide the student with the theory of hemodynamic monitoring and management of the critically ill patient. An overview of the neonate and pediatric patient will be presented with emphasis on the treatment and management of those with cardiopulmonary diseases. Advance pulmonary function testing and interpretation of the test results will also be covered as well as pulmonary function equipment and quality control procedures for the equipment. Prerequisite: Completion of third semester RESP courses
